Adventure Sailing Weekend Solent (Bank Holiday)

Join us on a weekend Adventure over the bank holiday weekend...

We will be meeting at Gunwharf Quay in Portsmouth Harbour, there's a direct train from Waterloo station.

The yacht will be available from 7pm onwards and if we aim to get there around 7pm we can grab a beer and some dinner.

This is a great way to meet new people and get some more sailing under your belt, on our adventure weekend we will be aiming to sail across to Cowes on the Isle if Wight the home of yachting and also visit some of the bays of the Solent. there will be plenty of hands on sailing and helming, and also the opportunity to practice any skills like boat handling under sail etc..

It doesn’t matter whether you are seasoned sailors or total yachting novices, this is a great opportunity to do something new and different.
On board you can do as much or as little as you wish might even find yourself helming the boat down the Solent. and if you are learning to sail this is a great way to put some of your skills to the test.

Draft Itinerary
Friday – Meet the yacht at Portsmouth Harbour, then a relaxed get to know each other over dinner.

Saturday – After breakfast on board, set sail for the day working with the tides we might find ourself in Cowes or Lymington and with time to explore the local town before an evening meal at a local pub.

Sunday – After a leisurely breakfast we will be setting sail back along the solent towards Portsmouth enjoying Lunch in Osbourne Bay before sailing back to Portsmouth.

The contribution for the weekend is £150 pp including breakfast and lunch each day, if if the crew would like to eat on board one night we can cook evening meal..

It also includes all boat costs inc moorings, fuel etc.
