Let's try this one again. Fingers crossed the weather will play ball this time.

The plan will be to meet outside Richmond Station at 3pm on Saturday 24th:

From the station we will walk up the hill and into Richmond Park. If you're keen on shooting deer make to bring a long lens or something with a decent zoom on it. There are also nice wooded areas which might be fun to try out some portraits etc. As usual we will just stroll and see what we see. At around 4:30pm / 5pm we can head back down the hill and along the river towards the station, hopefully ending at a coffee shop which will accommodate us.

THIS ONE WILL BE DEPENDANT ON GOOD WEATHER, so make sure to check your emails on the morning. If it's looking bleak I will probably have to call it off, but if you don't hear from me we are good to go.

As usual, I don't have a specific structure to our time together and would like to keep it creative and loose.

The point will just be to experiment, interact and ask questions of the more experienced photographers who are along for the ride. I will make sure to point them out to you up front. Feel free to stop myself, or any of the other 'pros', and ask advice on composition, equipment, editing, apps for mobile, techniques, tips and tricks; whatever answers you need to take your next step to becoming a better photographer. We are here to help you learn your gear, take better shots, and hopefully make some useful connections and good friends in the big city.

Afterwards I would love you to post a selection of the shots from the day to this group, but no pressure at all.

As always, this is open to photographers of all skill levels, with any camera, and is free of charge. Please only sign up if you genuinely intend on coming as there will always be a waiting list, and you may be keeping someone else from attended by 'holding a place'.
