The Ring of Lewes: A glorious South Downs circular

Details
This is simply a tip-top summer walk: starting and ending in Lewes, it covers around 15 miles (23km) with some of the finest scenery the South Downs has to offer - which is some finery. There are a couple of stiff climbs to get onto the ridge of the Downs at the beginning of the day and after lunch, but nothing that stout walking boots and hearts can't master - and the views speak for themselves. And because this group is what it is, we will compensate for any exertion with equally glorious pub stops for lunch and further refreshment. To experience it you have to be there - do come!
