Saturday Games Day - 40K Fun and Fluff Tournament

FUN AND FLUFFY 40K TOURNAMENT!

Our popular relaxed 'fun and fluffy' Tournament is back! A bit about the format: In response to popular demand, we’ve tried over the last year or so to evolve a tournament gaming/scoring system that enables and rewards ‘fun’ and ‘fluffy’ play. A system that rewards strategic achievement, but not without consideration of the other aspects of the game, namely the fun factor and hobby factor. Below is what we’ve come up with. Enjoy!

THE FORMAT:
We'll be running our custom Fun ‘n’ Fluffy format, designed to limit some of the worst of the ‘cheese’ out there. Full details are in the pack below, but the highlights are:

• 1500 points
• Single ITC Faction
• Single Detachment, which must be a Battalion (Drukhari may instead take a Raiding Force of 3 Patrols)
• Modified Highlander (Troops and Transports 0-3 , everything else 0-1)
• No Lords of War, Fortifications, or Forgeworld
• ITC missions
• Three games over the course of the day
• The Big FAQ and all beta rules will be in effect

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, as well as Fluffiest Army and Most Fun Player.

We’ve put a little bit more into prizes this time, so you could potentially win a DOMINUS IMPERIAL KNIGHT! (Or turn it into a Renegade Knight, if that’s your thing)

Please email your lists to tournament@londonwargamingguild.com by 7pm Thursday 26/07. We’re now ITC registered, so please use the email address that you'd like your ITC scores submitted against.
