Chapter IX: The Vault

A cold draught draws you further into the Palace, leading you up towards the peak of the mountain. Suddenly, the walls part and the claustrophobic corridors disappear, opening into a vast cavern: The vaunted Treasure Vault of Old Felstad.

Once, the glittering treasures found here would have been the greatest prize you could imagine, a worthy goal of your great exhibition here to Frostgrave. But the knowledge you have amassed has changed you and these baubles are nothing to you now: only the Throne itself will satisfy you, only the power contained in its enchantments will make all this worth it...

Still... Treasure means spells, artefacts, weapons, and soldiers to wield them... All of which you will need in the final battle. Very well, you think, and reach out to seize the nearest chest of gold, only to stop short as you hear a titanic roar from the centre of the chamber.

The Last Guardian still lives. The Dragon of Frostgrave.

This is the last adventure before our Grand Finale on the 25th August! There will be absolutely loads of treasure up for grabs this time, as your wizards make their final preparations for seizing the Throne of Frostgrave and all the power contained within!

The snows are beginning to recede, revealing the shattered ruins of Frostgrave — a once-great city of wizard-kings, buried for centuries beneath ice and legend.
Now rival sorcerers return, leading warbands into the frozen streets in search of lost spells, ancient artefacts, and forgotten power.
