Directions

Please carpool, cycle or take transit ! If you car pool, please don't forget to reimburse your driver for gas.

Transportation

If you are interested in joining this event but don't have a ride, click on "I'm going" and indicate where you need a ride from. If you are willing to give a ride please indicate where you can give a ride from once you've indicated you're coming.

Hilary and Magixr are both coming from Burnaby and can offer rides. Please contact them directly.

Please contact Ronda directly (she's on the list to the right) if you are driving from Vancouver and can give her a lift!

Activities

We will:

Meet at 10 am at the 168th Street parking lot by 102nd Ave and at 10:10 am (to account for late comers) we will walk over to the location where we will be planting. For those who are late - Metro Vancouver Parks will have signage leading you to the planting site, follow those signs and then look for a Lower Mainland Green Team sign to find our group (there will be three other groups there) Plant from 10 am - noon (with breaks of course) Walk around Tynehead Park More about Tynehead Regional Park

Tynehead Park is a 260 hectare park in Surrey. Lots of habitat for owls, hawks and coyotes. The Serpentine river flows through the park. There are 5kms of walking trails, a fish hatchery and a butterfly garden. For pictures of the park and a much better map than the one google provides:
