Health & Freedom Rally: Support Federal/State/City Employees Against Mandates

UPDATE – There's a different rally happening on the Polk Street steps of City Hall, so we'll be in the park across the street (Civic Center Plaza). Rally is officially noon -2pm, but some folks will meet starting 11:15am.

Government employees typically have a lot to answer for. They are often involved with carrying out and enforcing the tyrannical laws and policies, and imposing the burdensome taxes and fees, that the politicians and their top appointees use to shackle the rest of us.
But they are also individuals, like the rest of us. Just because they work for a criminal gang operating under color of law, and their salaries, benefits, and pensions are funded with stolen tax dollars, doesn't mean all of them are personally making things worse.
A brave few are presumably working from the inside in a harm reduction capacity, trying to bring some humanity to an inhumane system, or serving as whistleblowers to expose rights violations and corruption.
Even when it comes to those who are actively committing and enabling acts of aggression, and doing nothing to lessen the harmful impact of the State, showing no compassion for their victims, it is worth remembering that they likely grew up in households where statism was taken for granted, spent decades in government institutional learning facilities, and were bombarded with anti-freedom messages for all of their formative years.
In the words of the famous religious maxim, we can perhaps find it in our hearts to "Forgive them, for they know not what they do."
If that's asking too much, then just think of the minority whose hearts are in the right places, and who do not condone the systemic aggression of their employers.
These employees of conscience, after all, are probably among those on the government workforce most likely to care about freedom, and to suffer most heavily under the unconstitutional mandates for government employees to wear masks, get vaccinated, or otherwise surrender their medical freedom and personal choice in the name of public health.
If you are still unmoved, then consider that what the State successfully imposes on them today, may well be what it attempts to impose on everyone else tomorrow.
Come to SF City Hall on Friday, August 27, from noon to 2pm, and demonstrate in defense of the rights of government workers to make their own decisions about masking and vaccination without having to fear being penalized or losing their jobs if they don't succumb to the official fearmongering.
Suggested items to bring: Protest signs, noisemakers, chalk, water, snacks, sun protection, fliers, comfortable shoes (in case we march), phones/cameras to record and share the event on social media.
