Walk This Way.
If you have been thinking of getting out and walking, maybe meeting some new friends in an easygoing and fun atmosphere, well… this group is for you!
Saturdays we meet at 9:30am.
Sundays we meet at 10:15am.
During the spring, summer and fall we meet at the Gazebo at Parks Lake, Rockaway, NJ.
During the winter and inclement weather (heat waves included) we meet at Cinnabons in the Rockaway Mall Food Court. If this happens to be on a Sunday, then the start time is 11:15am.
Please check weekly to be sure where walks will be held. Weather is always changing.
The group walk is about an hour. We can become a few smaller groups (based on the preferred walking speed of the individuals) who meet at the end of the walk to socialize with the entire group. (This isn’t mandatory, but it is fun). Meet old friends and new ones.
Everyone is free to go at their own speed.
We will also have many other “fun events” and group walks which will be posted here. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join in.
Now for the stuff…
- This group is for everyone equally. We all joined for our own reasons. This is the place where we find common interests, come together by all the things we all have in common, regardless of political leanings. Hence there will be ZERO TOLERANCE for any form of political conversation.
- There is no soliciting or promoting of your business or services at any event.
