Group Kick Off & Monthly Topic: The Trouble with Teens Today

Whether you have a teen now, a child who will be one day soon, or can reflect back on the changes you see today from when you were growing up, the data shows teenagers are struggling at precisely the time in their lives when they pull away from their parents. As dads or mentors in teens lives, how are we role-modeling for them what it means to be a healthy male if we feel we ourselves are struggling to find a sense of purpose, meaning, friendships, etc in our own lives?

Join us for what is sure to be an interesting and informative discussion around what exactly is the teenage experience today and in if, or in what ways, we can support them within our community.

The goal of this group is to make connections through shared experiences and interests. It's intended to provide a safe space for men to share (something that doesn't come naturally to us) experiences, ask questions, and even take action towards becoming more integrated into our community here in SLO.
