ROOM 001 — The Me I Haven't Met

Are you using your identity, or is your identity running you?
You know who you are. At least, you think you do.
Over the years, you've developed a certain understanding of yourself. You know what you're good at, what you're not, how you behave around people and what you believe you're capable of.

But how much of that have you actually questioned?
Perhaps there are things you stopped attempting because you decided long ago that you're simply not that kind of person. The people around you have known you a certain way for so long that you've started seeing yourself through their eyes.
At what point does an identity that once helped you make sense of yourself begin deciding what you can and cannot become?

That's where Room 001 begins.

What Happens Inside?
Imagine spending your Saturday evening with nine people you wouldn't ordinarily meet, exploring a question that rarely comes up in everyday life.
Our offline workshops are called Rooms. There's no stage, lecture or expert telling you what to think. I'll be part of the conversation too, guiding it without deciding where it should lead.
You can speak openly or spend the entire workshop listening.

There's no pressure to share anything you're uncomfortable with.
More than anything, this is your time to put your guard down. The people sitting with you aren't interested in your title, job or status.

For once, you get to be around people without having to be somebody.

Why I'm Bringing This Together
I've often wondered how much of who we become is the result of deliberate choices, and how much comes from conclusions we made about ourselves without ever testing them.
I don't think a question like that becomes more interesting simply because someone gives a clever answer to it.
I'd rather bring people together who are willing to examine it through their own lives, hear how others see it and find out where the conversation takes us.
That's why I'm beginning the Human Possibility Project with Room 001. - Rahul
