From the creator of London Black Chicks Network in 2015 now births The MelaFemme Collective (for Melanated Women) for 25+ years old.
It is so empowering to see all these spaces/ groups crafted for Black Women! Wow!
This group serves to focus on those of us who are floating around with time to spare on our evenings and weekends.
The primary focus will be on having fun! Trying new experiences together and bonding.
We will be doing fun activities from girl's nights out and social mixers to fun things like perfume making classes or giant monopoly etc.
We of course acknowledge the increasing need to take care of our mental health and wellbeing and will attend or tailor events geared toward this.
I definitely want to open my camera roll and not just stare at a bunch of selfies but seeing long-lasting memories of fun bonding times together.
As Neyo says, (paraphrasing of course lol) We are a movement by ourselves but we are force together!
We have big big plans to ensure each member is valued, encouraged and appreciated to be the best version of themselves.
