Big Ideas Day

Details
In conjunction with Jesuit Social Services, Swinburne University and Box Hill TAFE, we've received funding from City of Melbourne to run a Big Ideas workshop in Melbourne CBD this Saturday 29 October, 9.30 - 2.00pm in Flinders Lane.
The Big Ideas workshop is part of a business startup program for migrant families. The project is called Keeping it in the Family: business training for migrant families.
It’s free and open to people born overseas who live in or near City of Melbourne.I understand that it's last minute but I am hoping you may be able to tell your members as we want any migrant who wants to know about business in Australia to have the opportunity to attend.
The people who may attend have:
- a business idea only that they want to work on
- an early stage business they want to focus on developing
- an existing business but want to look at an idea for a new product or service.
After the workshop there will be a 6 week pre-accelerator program held on Saturdays in the CBD for migrant families to help them start or grow a business. Participation is optional but also free. At this stage, we are only promoting the Big Ideas workshop this Saturday.
