Join us for a combined wildlife and bird photography session at the remarkable Banyule Flats Reserve, a local haven brimming with photographic opportunities. Inspired by the landscapes that drew the Heidelberg School artists, we'll explore this diverse 46.47-hectare sanctuary, renowned for its rich tapestry of flora and fauna.

Banyule Flats, seamlessly connecting with the Yarra Valley and Warringal Parklands, is a prime location to capture both the vibrant avian life attracted to the Yarra River and Banyule Swamp (with over 153 species recorded!) and the fascinating array of other native wildlife, including kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, and wallabies that call this area home.

Schedule
9.00am - Meet at Banyule Flats Reserve Car Park (off Somerset Drive, Viewbank) googlemap link We will proceed to the Banyule Swamp and Silt Pond, followed by the Main Yarra Trail.
11.30am - Meet for Brunch - location TBC
12.30pm - Meetup ends
