Sunset at Point Ormond and visiting Rippon Lea Estate

We now have more information on the 45 minute tour of the Mansion if you wish to participate in this tour. There are a number of tours of the mansion between 10am and 2pm. Alternatively you may wish to just look around the garden. We have now made some changes to the schedule below.

We also cannot guarantee that there will be skydiving when we are there. If there is no skydiving, I am sure we will be able to photograph the surrounding areas.

Please remember that you must not sell your images taken at Ripponlea as we are entering as non commercial photographers. See information below.

FINAL SCHEDULE

NOTE: If you are interested in doing both the garden and the tour of the mansion, we suggest joining us at 1pm. If you are wanting to just do the garden, then we suggest a 2pm start on your own. John and I will be on the tour of the mansion at the time.

1.00pm - Meet at Rippon Lea Estate entrance if you are interested in both wandering around the garden and doing the tour of the mansion.
1.15pm - Explore the Rippon Lea Estate and Garden.
Rippon Lea is a large nineteenth-century mansion surrounded by 14 acres of Victorian pleasure gardens. It is listed on the National Heritage Register because it is one of the finest examples of an original suburban estate in Australia.

NOTE:
We still have not heard from Rippon Lea if non professional photographers are permitted to photograph there. The information on the website point only to commercial photographers where you will be asked to pay a fee etc. It is likely we will be allowed to photograph but will leave it with you to make that call. Main thing is you must not sell your images taken at the Estate. Please read the link below for information on photography there.

2.00pm - Tour of the mansion, or

3.00pm - Head to Moran Reserve to capture skydivers. Please note that it all depends if there is going to be any skydiving happening as it relies on the weather conditions and whether there are people doing this activity.
