The Miners Poblenou Sur is a specialty coffee shop in the heart of Poblenou, Barcelona, right on Rambla del Poblenou.
We’re more than just a place to grab great coffee. We want to create a space where people can meet, connect and enjoy interesting experiences together.
We host regular events including social meetups, silent reading parties, language exchanges, talks, workshops, community events and other unique experiences.
Our events are relaxed, welcoming and designed to make it easy to meet new people without the pressure of a typical networking event.

The Miners Poblenou Sur is teaming up with @rayslaterb for a cozy evening dedicated to doing exactly that.
30 book lovers, one coffee shop, and an hour of uninterrupted reading.
Bring whatever you're currently reading, grab a hot drink (included in your ticket!), find a comfortable spot, and settle in.
Just you, your book, and a room full of people who love reading as much as you do.
How the evening works:
18:30 — Doors open
Arrive, grab your complimentary hot drink, find your seat, and get cozy.19:00 — The silent reading lock-in begins
Phones away, books open. We'll spend the next hour reading quietly together with some lo-fi beats.20:00 — Back to reality
We'll wrap up the reading session, with a little time to chat, swap book recommendations, or meet fellow readers.20:15 — Doors close
