What if Brussels’ museums stopped feeling like museums for one night?

Join The Mixer for Museum Night Fever 2026 - an evening where exhibitions meet live performances, music, DJs, installations and unexpected encounters, while we explore Brussels together after dark.

Come solo or bring a friend. The idea is simple: discover, connect and enjoy the night together.

Experience overview

Museum Night Fever transforms Brussels into one big cultural playground. On Saturday 17 October, 28 museums will take part, with more than 100 activities across the city. Museums are open from 19:00 until 01:00, with performances, exhibitions, dance, live music, workshops, installations and other special programming.

Rather than trying to see everything, The Mixer will turn the evening into a shared social experience. We'll meet as a group, get acquainted, then explore a selection of museums and experiences together.

The emphasis isn't on ticking museums off a list. It's about experiencing Brussels differently and meeting people along the way - particularly welcoming if you're joining on your own. People increasingly use Meetup specifically to find friends and social connection, not simply activities, which is exactly the spirit behind this evening.

πŸ‘₯ Who this is for

This evening is especially suited to international professionals and expats in Brussels, locals who enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds, solo joiners looking for an easy social setting, and anyone interested in art, culture, music or discovering Brussels differently.

No museum expertise required. Curiosity is enough. 😊

πŸŽ’ What to bring

Bring your Museum Night Fever ticket, a charged phone, comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for moving between venues outdoors.

Most importantly, bring a little curiosity and openness to meeting new people.

ℹ️ Important notes

Museum Night Fever itself is organised by Brussels Museums and participating cultural institutions, not by Sunday Vacations / UJAMAA ASBL. Sunday Vacations' role is to facilitate the community meetup and shared social experience around the event.

The official programme, participating museums, admission conditions, transport arrangements and schedules may be changed by the event organiser. Always check the official information before attending.

Because museums can become busy, our route may also change during the evening depending on queues, timing and group preferences.

βš–οΈ Legal disclaimer

Sunday Vacations / UJAMAA ASBL acts as a community organiser and facilitator, not as a travel agency, museum operator or ticketing provider.

Museum admission, performances, transportation services, afterparties and other third-party services are provided independently by their respective operators. Participants purchase third-party tickets directly from those providers and remain subject to their terms, availability, cancellation policies and conditions.

Activities are organised by volunteers and covered under the COCOF volunteer insurance framework.
