Moss Cove Volunteer Day at Point Lobos SNR w/ CA State Parks

Details
Join us for a volunteer day at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve! Afterwards, treat yourself to a beautiful hike around the reserve.
WHAT WE ARE DOING: This month we'll venture to the beautiful Moss Cove to remove invasive wild mustard. This area of Point Lobos is closed to the public, so this is a rare chance to visit this part of the reserve! This project involves a ~1 mile hike (one way) to the project site. This site has ticks, so be prepared!
Please visit our Upcoming Volunteer Events page for the latest details.
WHERE TO MEET: Whaler's Cove Parking Lot. Check in with the front kiosk when you arrive!
Arrive early to secure a parking space!
WHAT TO BRING: Water, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, hat, snacks. Gloves and tools will be provided.
*Special note: Inform the kiosk staff that you are attending the volunteer work day for complimentary admission when you enter the park.*
Please email volunteer.monterey@parks.ca.gov with any questions!

Every 3rd Wednesday of the month until November 19, 2025
