Chiemsee Hike Meetup
📅 Date & Time: Sunday, July 6th – Meet at 12:30 PM at Munich HBF (Platform 9)
📍 Meeting Point: München Hauptbahnhof, Near Platform 9
👥 Age Group: 18–35

Join us for a relaxing round trip walk around the stunning Chiemsee lake! 🌲🌊 It’s an easy, social hike with breathtaking scenery, perfect for making new connections and enjoying a day outdoors.

We’ll take the RE5 train at 12:55 PM from Munich Hbf to Prien am Chiemsee (arriving around 13:51). Total travel time is about 1 hour. ⏱️

The walk is for about 10 kms, mostly flat, and we’ll take our time, stopping for photos and breaks as we go. 📸

What to bring:
• Comfortable walking shoes 👟
• Water & lunch for you🥤🍎
• Swimwear and towel if you're planning to swim for a while 🏊🏻‍♂️
• Weather-appropriate clothing (layers, sunscreen, etc.) ☀️🧥
• DB ticket - we travel with the Deutschlandticket 🎫

How to get there:
• Meet at 12:30 PM at Munich Hbf, near Platform 9
• Train: RE5 to Salzburg (departure 12:55)

We plan to be walking around Chiemsee by about 14:00 and finish by 17:30. You’re welcome to stay longer and hang out by the lake if you want. ⛰️

Important Notes:
• Ages 18–35 only 🔞
• If you can’t make it, cancel early so others can join ❌
• Dogs are welcome 🐕
• If the weather is really bad we refund and reschedule 🔁🌧️
