Werewolves in the park

✨ The Mystery Society of Leuven-Brussels invites you to our first public event- a game of Werewolves in the park!

We've been playing this game over the past few months with groups of about 16 people, and we're hoping you'll join us!

We will be playing at Hal-5, a 5 minute walk from Leuven train station. The event will ideally take place outdoors, but we can move inside if the weather is looking bad.

Please update your rsvp if you can't make it to give anyone on the waiting list a chance to join.

❓What is Werewolves? It's a social deduction/ hidden identity game that can be played with a large group of people.

The background story is that there's a quiet village where nothing ever happens until one day a number of villagers are turned into werewolves and terrorise the town by killing an innocent villager every night. Can the villagers find out who the werewolves are before it's too late?

Everyone draws a secret card telling them what role they play: ordinary villager (vanillager), villager with a special power, or werewolf. We all sit in a circle and every 'night' when people's eyes are closed the werewolves wake up and point to the person they want to kill that night. The villagers with special powers are then woken up in turn. During the day everyone in town votes on which villager they want to execute as a suspected werewolf.

‼️ You have to be comfortable with deceiving and being deceived as well as accusing and being accused in the name of fun. Also note that we sometimes use lurid imagery to describe the werewolves 'murdering' villagers and villagers being 'executed'.

It would be a good idea to bring layers in case it gets chilly as well as something to drink and something to snack on.
