We host immersive murder mystery parties, pop-up escape rooms, and other puzzle-and-mystery nights. You’ll be handed a character, a secret or two, and a room full of suspects. Come in costume, bring your best poker face, and see if you can solve the case (or get away with it).

Who it’s for
Solo travellers, locals, friends, and first-timers are all welcome. No acting skills or mystery experience needed, just curiosity and a sense of fun. Events are in English :)

Murder Mystery- Cox’s Cursed Circus
Lisbon Destination Hostel, Estação do Rossio, Largo do Duque de Cadaval 2º andar, 1200-160 Lisboa, Portugal, Lisboa, PTNo one is excited to see Cox’s Cursed Circus arrive in town.
It reeks of burnt popcorn, and the bright lights of the big top are burning out. Not to mention the disappearances that have followed the circus through each of the little towns it has stopped in over the last year.
But there will be no sad clowns on Halloween. So the ring master has invited you to a little pre-show extravaganza for all his cast.
Do you have what it takes to spot the suspect? Pick a faction, play the game, and maybe expose a murderer this October 31 from 17:00 to 20:00.

🔪 Never been to a murder mystery party before?
It's simple. On the night of the event, you'll receive a character card that contains all the little goodies you'll need to solve (or commit) the crime.
You have a secret. Keep it safe, because other guests are trying to figure you out.
You have a goal. Every character wants something tonight; make sure you achieve yours.
Talk with your fellow conspirators, search for clues, make dark deals, and at the end of the night, name the killer.
No acting experience needed. Play it quiet or go full drama! Live actors guide the night, so you can enjoy unraveling the spooky tale.
🤡 Pick your faction!
Put on your costumes and get ready to meet your freaky friends. Spots in each faction are limited and given first come, first served. Want to reserve a specific role? Message @papermonsterevents on Instagram to lock it in. Don’t know what to pick? We'll make the choice for you.
Coming as a group? Try the Acrobats, Trapeze, or Clown factions to have the best chance of sticking together.
Coming on your own? Take a look at the Small Stage, Side Shows, and Outcasts if you want the best chance to meet new friends.

Calling all Lion tamers, magicians, and tightrope walkers to theSmall Stage. Maybe your time to shine has finally arrived.
Next we’re looking for the Side Shows, the Fire breathers, stilt walkers, sword swallowers, and strong men. The circus couldn’t run without you!
Here comes the Trapeze Troupe! It looks like they are one member short tonight; I wonder where he could be.
Look who’s Clowning around! The juggler is out of the car first, followed by the slapstick clown, the mime, and, would you look at that, even the sad clown is smiling!
Flipping onto the stage next are the Acrobats. They’re always so synchronized! They are even coughing in sync; it’s too bad they’ve been so sick lately.
Oh, and there’s the contortionist, the carnie, the puppet master, and that guy who gets shot out of a cannon. They won’t be around much longer, just a bunch of Outcasts on their way home.
Come for the party, stay because you're now a person of interest. 🍸🔪
