Free RPG Day: DND 5E - Arora: Age of Desolation

Come out and explore the setting of Arora, Age of Desolation. This setting guide to Dungeons and Dragons takes the players to the world of Arora, a desert wasteland ruled by draconic warlords and their marauding warbands. Here, if the harsh conditions and lack of resources don't kill you, the aggressive inhabitants will. Not all is harsh however, as life prevails in this climate, as communities of people continue to fight for survival in the desert. They find ways to harvest water from the quicksand, to carve houses from sandstone mesas, and to race magical skiffs across the dunes in the name of survival and war.

In our session-- A recent seismic collapse have forced your people to join the colony at a much larger mesa. However, to establish community trade and acceptance in a time of destruction, you must first prove yourselves capable. The city has declared "The Great Water Race" to replenish its stores, sending its most capable drivers, fighters, and harvesters out into the wastes to bring as much of the life sustaining liquid back as they can find and carry. Fame and fortune aren't the only thing that await you out in this trial: the desert's dangerous monstrosities, roving pirates, fearsome warbands, and a trove of dangerous secrets lie out in the sand.

Pick a skiff, a guide, and plan your route through the wastes to collect enough water to become Champions of the city! Or fail and have your lasting legacy be forgotten bones in an endless sea of sand...

Join us for a thrilling one-shot session of Dnd 5e in Arora: Age of Desolation! Pre-made characters will be provided (but you can also bring a setting appropriate, official material character at level 3 if you'd prefer). This adventure assumes you have a basic understanding of DnD 5e rules, but questions will be happily answered. Dice and pencils are recommended, but extras will be brought.
