Dundery Brook Plant Identification 101

Have you ever wandered through the trails of Dundery Brook wondering what some of the abundant plants are? Have you ever wanted to learn the skills required to identify plants you see out in the wild? Look no further than this event! Learn all about the basics of plant identification through the lens of Dundery Brook vegetation!

Parking after 4pm is free for Little Compton Residents, but non-residents are not typically allowed in at this time. *** PLEASE REGISTER with Jes Szetela at jessica.szetela@tnc.org so we can give the gate your name to allow entry for this event. ***

Directions:

• If using a GPS, the best thing to do is to enter: South Shore Road Little Compton, RI 02837
• Follow South Shore Road all the way to the end until you reach a dirt parking lot at South Shore Beach-- you made it!
• Park, and use the portable restrooms if needed as there are none beyond this point.
• Just past the end of the parking lot you will reach a wooden building with four informational Nature Conservancy signs on the side. From the building, look to your left and you will see another sign: "Visit the Benjamin Family Environmental Center." Follow that sign to the grass path that leads to the Education Center -- that's where we'll be!
