About us
Time in nature is fundamental to our wellbeing. Yet in our modern lives we live mostly indoors, stare at screens, rush through schedules, and wonder why we feel vaguely empty, anxious, and disconnected. Author Richard Louv named it nature deficit disorder - the very real human cost of a life lived increasingly apart from the natural world.
This group is inspired from my own experiences of spending time in nature, as well as the various events and experiences I have guided people on while exploring the natural world.
There will be a variety of events I will offer, including healing nature immersions, outdoor yoga and qigong, social hangouts, picnics, simple hikes, weekend camping adventures, and workshops exploring how and why nature does what it does for us.
Some events will go deep. Some will just be a good time outside with good people. All of them will leave you feeling more alive than when you arrived. Any fitness level and outdoor experience is welcome. This group aims to be accessible and enjoyable for all.
