PORTRAIT and FIGURE PAINTING in WATERCOLOR - 10 SESSIONS!

Unlike any other medium, watercolor offers a bountiful array of wonderful techniques. From glazing to spattering, these unique properties may be found in all successful watercolor paintings. Working from photographic references, students will have the opportunity to learn from weekly demonstrations and apply newly learned methods to their work. Lessons will focus on painting features, the figure, and fabric. Most lessons will be completed from a provided photographic reference. One session will include a live model. Beginning students are encouraged to practice the techniques while advanced students may work independently on their own projects with guidance.

DATES: Mondays –April 8th – June 17th, 2024 (10 weeks) No class on May 13th
In the case of inclement weather, students will be notified via email of cancellations. Canceled classes will be made up at the end of the term.

HOURS: 4:00-7:00 PM

LEVEL: Beginner to Advanced

AGE: Mature Teens to Adult

Student Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation received outside of 30 days will result in a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30-8 days out will result in a 50% penalty. There are no refunds for any cancellation received one week prior to the start of the class.
