In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Cooley High, join us for a screening of the film that inspired Tupac to become an actor / rapper. A special presentation in honor of director, Michael Schultz, will precede the screening.

Entrance
Please enter The Newark Museum of Art through the Main Entrance for all screenings and events during the Newark Black Film Festival. Due to construction, this will be the only entrance used for the Festival.
Seating
All NBFF screenings offer open seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Accessible seating for guests using wheelchairs or with mobility needs is available on the right and left sides of the auditorium in the back. When the auditorium seating fills, additional seating will be available in our overflow space.
Assistive Listening
The Auditorium is equipped with an assistive listening system. If you would like to use an assistive listening device, please request one from a staff member when you check in. For more accessibility information, please reach out to accessibility@newarkmuseumart.org.
