Blueberry Picking! (and Lunch at Wally's)

Details
Hi everyone! One of our 2025 goals is to Eat From Our Feet in an effort to reduce unnecessary plastics, reduce heavy transportation and support our local economy. With that said, Peter and I eat an estimated 64 lbs. of blueberries every year. When purchased at the grocery store, that's a LOT of plastic packaging we take home with our favorite fruit.
This year, we are picking our own berries and freezing the in reusable bags.
On Friday, we found the Blue Thumb to offer beautify organic blueberries, a lovely landscape and friendly caretakers. It took the two of us about 2.5 hour to pick 10 pounds.
Want to join us? Come and just pick a pint, or go for the pounds...whatever floats your boat! When the group is done, we can head over to Wally's for a sandwich (about $10 per item).
What to bring?: The cost is $3.50 per pint (cash, check or Venmo). A hat, sunscreen and a water bottle are suggested essentials.
Rain will cancel this event. Check the comments at 10 am for an undated if the weather is iffy.
252 Club* Bag: South Hero
PS - this is a pick at your own risk event :)
*What is the 252 Club? (Well, actually it's real name is the "251 Club," but a new town was recently added to the list.) It is a club that people join, touch all 251/2 townships in Vermont, and earn a certificate of completion. Peter and I are simply tracking the towns we touch on our own. Our rule is that we must do some type of activity in the town and then take a picture of ourselves (and anyone we did the activity with) near a sign or structure that is unique to the town.
