Details
The Museum of the City of New York has asked the Association of Personal Historians to co-sponsor an event this month in conjunction with its acclaimed ongoing exhibition, Activist New York.
Author Eunice Lipton will discuss her recent family memoir, A Distant Heartbeat: A War, a Disappearance, and a Family’s Secrets, which tells the story of an uncle who joined the Abraham Lincoln Brigade and fought in the Spanish Civil War. APH members can attend this program at a discounted rate, courtesy of the museum. Register online at: mcny.org/programs and use the code SPAIN for $10 tickets (regularly $16). Feel free to share it widely!
