Show & Tale is partnering with the Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York, Inc. on this special event during NY Archives Week in NYC!!!! If you didn’t know this already archivists are awesome & get to handle cool stuff! Join us to share a bit of your personal history through a significant object or photo. Show & Tell or Look & Listen.

Bring a photo or object from your personal/business history collection and share its tale in 3 minutes or less at our Show & Tales NYAW Happy Hour.

Did you keep your first business card? Or diploma? Or that napkin with the first notes about the business you have/are/thinking of creating? Do you have a favorite spoon(s), mug, pen, pair of boots?

Do you have a “lucky” piece of clothing you wear on important dates? Have you kept cards, letters & thank you notes you read over and over that make you feel like pushing ahead? A favorite recipe you make when you’re feeling down or like celebrating? Aprons, clothing, kitchen gadgets, photos, paintings, jewelry, tools.... You get the picture. Every Thing has a story©.
