Informal Gathering at the Swedish Embassy’s Midsommar on the National Mall

The Nordic Connection-Washington D.C. will informally meet up at the Embassy of Sweden’s Midsommar Celebration on the National Mall TONIGHT (Friday, June 20th)! Please join us near Sylvan Theater (the Mall area closest to the Washington Monument) around 6pm. Bring a picnic dinner if you like- we’ll have the game kubb available to play as well as flowers and other supplies for making flower crowns. The Swedish Embassy will be providing a Maypole with traditional Swedish dancing as well as live musical performances and other activities. Look for a black wagon with Nordic flags in the grassy area between the stage and the Washington monument.
