Book Group: Queen Esther by Old John Irving Week 2 of 4

John Irving has a new book out; let's read it! I know nothing about it except it apparently involved the characters from Cider House Rules (I guess everyone from Garp is dead). I haven't looked at the book yet but amazon says it's 432 pages so we should be able to read it in four weeks. That puts the last week on Dec. 23--I think that's better than the week between Christmas and New Year's? We can change it if we want.
