May Book Club - "Big Swiss" by Jen Beagin

"That's a Gouda book!"
- Me, after enjoying it, but also not really understanding dairy products

This month's selection is Big Swiss, a 2023 novel by Jen Beagin that deals with attraction, obsession, and dog parks. The story follows Greta, a transcriptionist for a sex therapist, who becomes interested in the stories of one of his new clients (the titular Big Swiss). It's absurd, its funny, and it is very readable (and an HBO series is already in the works from Adam McKay).

Join us this month as we discuss the book, our favorite cheese (it's probably not Swiss), and our comfort level of reading a book with that cover in public (not the much safer one I've included for this event).
