WHAT IS A SECRET NETWORKING EVENT?
This event is for those who want to network for business or just want to come out and socialize. Whether you are an entrepreneur, small business owner, business professional or just someone who wants to meet new people, this event is for you! It's the perfect opportunity to get away from your desk, have some cocktails and network with potential business partners, investors, industry professionals and new clients.... Or make some new friends! We've witnessed countless business connections and friendships form at our past events. We'd say about 70% of the crowd is usually single so it can be a great place to meet someone special as well. A Secret Networking Event is a revolutionary new event that is changing the way people network in NYC. It is a fun and easy way to connect with others in a relaxed, low pressure environment.

SECRET SYMBOL
After you sign up we'll send you an email with a list of different industries and interests to choose from. Each industry/interest will have a different "secret symbol". This secret symbol will let the other event attendees know what industry/industries you're in or what topic/topics you're interested in. Once you select what industry and/or topics you're interested in you'll be directed to a page with printable paper bracelet templates with your secret symbol on them. You can select one industry or multiple industries or topics. If you don't have access to a printer you can simply draw the secret symbol/s on the back of your hand with a marker or pen before arriving at the event.

For example... those in the tech industry might have a triangle as their secret symbol... those in the real estate industry might have a square as their secret symbol... those single and looking to potentially meet someone special might have a circle as their secret symbol... those interested in crypto might have a lightning bolt as their secret symbol, etc. Then you simply show up at the venue at the listed start time and get started meeting people.

HOW MANY WILL BE ATTENDING?
It ranges from event to event. We usually have between 70 and 100 people sign up.

CAN I ARRIVE LATE?
Absolutely. Arrive any time you'd like.

CAN I COME ALONE?
Yes, about 75% come on their own.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
While we don't have a dress code we ask that you please look neat/presentable. What you wear to work or what you'd where for after work happy hour drinks is fine.

CAN I PAY AT THE EVENT DOOR?
We do not accept payment at the event door. We also change the venue at each event and don't give out the location to those who don't sign up. You must pre-pay online.

HOW LONG DOES THE EVENT GO?
The event is about 2.5 hours long, however the venue won't kick you out after 2.5 hours. So if you're having some good conversations and meeting people you're welcome to stay there as long as you'd like.

ARE THERE DRINKS?
Yes, there's a full menu of great drinks you can order at the bar.

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE?
Yes you can order food. The venue has a food menu and great appetizers available to order.

WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE?
Anyone of any age who wants to network is welcome

WHO ATTENDS THE EVENT?
Professionals of all sorts and ages.

IS THERE A REFUND POLICY?
If you need to cancel, please email us and we can transfer you to a future event. However we do not offer transfers if you cancel on the day of the event or don't show up.

Grab a cocktail or your favorite snacks because we're bringing a party directly to your home!

HOW IT WORKS:
Once you sign up, you'll be given a link to join a party (on Zoom) of other people via video. All you need is a laptop, phone or tablet to take part in the event. You'll enjoy an evening of meeting new people, fun social interactions and games. Our friendly host will be with you live via video orchestrating the event and even making introductions among the group so you'll get to know the other people attending. It's so much fun! Most people come on by themself so feel free to come on solo (The host will put you on a team with other group members. Everyone is really friendly!)

Once you login to the event, you'll get to see all of the other participants via video. The event host will then pair you off into smaller teams of about 6 people per group and you'll be working as a team against the other groups. The trivia nights are all trivia related rounds and the game nights are focused around fun party games. You'll be playing fun games like....

• Trivia In All Your Favorite Trivia Categories.
• Solving really cool riddles/puzzles as a group, answering trivia type questions and other questions that are similar to your favorite TV game shows!
• Playing fun games like"Taboo" and "Blank Slate" (In Blank Slate, the host will show you a word followed by a blank. For example: Chicken _________. You'll write down a word that follows the word Chicken such as "Soup". Essentially you're trying to predict what will be a popular answer. We do different fun trivia and games at each event we throw!

If I attended a past event with you, can I sign up for this one? Yes, In fact we never use repeat questions and we always change up the games so feel free to sign up with as many of our upcoming events as you'd like!

How do I join the event? After you sign up on to Eventbrite we will send you a link with an invitation to join the event.

How many will be participating in each event? We expect between 15 and 30 people.

You don’t need any special skills — just a sense of adventure and curiosity! This unique scavenger hunt is all about connecting, uncovering history, exploring Grand Central and solving a mystery.
Join us for a fun, social adventure at our Grand Central Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt. Get ready to have a good time making new friends and solving a mystery. Plus, you'll find out things about Grand Central you never knew before!
How It Works:

• When you arrive we will put you on teams - if you don’t already have one (90% of those attending will not have a team).
• Each team will be given a list of clues and 75 minutes to head to Grand Central to uncover the mystery of Mary’s demise. The team with the most points wins.
• Once everyone is back we'll safely socialize where you can share your experiences with the others.

The Theme:
Meet Up Mary is a regular on the social circuit in New York. You'd probably know her if you've been out before. She was very personable, friendly and bubbly! Unfortunately Mary met a horrific end at Grand Central and the police need you help to solve her case! Join us for this fun and educational night where you will get to explore every corner of the NYC Landmark in ways that you never have before! (If you have participated in our other Grand Central Hunts no worries as this is a completely different experience)

What's dress code? Wear what you had on at work. It's casual and comfortable.
