TRAIL RATING: Mostly a 3 with a section that is a 4.
3 ~ Road with frequent use, but seldom maintained. Dirt, sand and slick rock surfaces, with mud holes possible (note: maybe impassable when wet due to soil composition). 4WD recommended under most circumstances due to ruts or wash erosion.
4 ~ Road surface consisting of loose rock, dirt, and sand with some slickrock surfaces. Erosion, washes, gulches and rock steps no higher than 12”. 4WD is recommended with good ground clearance and driving skills. Aggressive tires and limited slip would be a plus. Water and mud is possible.
RSVP ONLY FOR NUMBER OF VEHICLES: Guests riding in your vehicle are welcome but are NOT part of the vehicle limit count. If you need to cancel please try to do so as far in advance as possible and change your RSVP to "No" so that another member can fill your slot.

TRIP DESTINATION: White Horse Lake
GENERAL ROUTES: We will meet at the Chino Safeway at 7:15, air down then leave at 7:30 after a brief driver meeting. Go to Perkinsville and then up a part of the Great Western Trail where there is a sign about 1/2 way up the hill with some historical facts posted. Time permitting we will go to the Sycamore Canyon Overlook then continue to White Horse Lake for lunch, go on Bill Williams loop and head south by a Flagstone Mine to the Drake Plant north of Chino just off of 89 where we will air up and head home.

SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS & OTHER DETAILS: Required is a CB, off-road tires, a fire extinguisher. As always bring a lunch, chair and non-alcoholic beverages to stay hydrated.
