The Online RPG Table brings players together online (and in Austin) to explore a wide variety of tabletop role-playing games, offering welcoming sessions for curious newcomers and longtime RPG fans alike.

Have you ever wanted to play D&D but the fates have never aligned? Maybe you have been curious about tabletop roleplaying games, watched Critical Role on Youtube, and always wanted to try but never found the right group.
This beginner-friendly one-shot session of D&D 5th Edition is designed to get you playing quickly and comfortably. No experience is required. Pre-generated characters will be available, or a quick character generation method is also an option.
We will then jump straight into the adventure and learn as we go. The adventure will adjust to having between one and six players. The tavern doors are open - your story begins here! (This community welcomes players of all experience levels, backgrounds, and gender orientation. Respect for fellow players is essential. Harassment, discrimination, or exclusionary behavior is not tolerated.) (This event is free, but donations are gratefully accepted. The current monthly Meetup Pro account is $55/month, and donations will go to pay for that and the Zoom subscription.)
