The Open Sketch Collective is a low-pressure space for anyone interested in drawing, regardless of whether you have been sketching for years or are just picking up a pencil for the first time. The goal here is simple: to carve out time in our busy weeks to sit down, observe, and put something on paper. We meet regularly to share supplies, swap techniques, and enjoy the quiet focus that comes with drawing alongside others.
There is no formal instruction and no judgment here, just a collective effort to keep our hands moving and our creative gears turning. You are welcome to bring whatever materials you prefer, whether that is a graphite pencil, a fountain pen, or a set of watercolors. We usually pick a spot to settle in, chat for a moment, and then spend the rest of the time working on our own projects. If you have been looking for a reason to sketch more often, we would love to have you join us.
