"Let Them" Weekly Check-in- Thursdays at noon

Details

This book club support group is for people looking to take a mindful approach at practicing the lessons from "Let Them." Our members realize we cannot control the actions or feelings of others. When we cut ties with control, we allow ourselves to focus on our own well-being instead. By adopting this mindset, many of us have achieved greater emotional peace and improved our personal relationships. The theory effectively frees you from the exhausting mental cycle of trying to manage everything around you. Our goal as a group is to observe and support each other without trying to control or manipulate anyone into unrealistic expectations. Lasting relationships are built on trust, consistency and respect for the ebbs/flows of life. If you are looking for a mellow space to make new friends who are focused on self-improvement, come join us. We have air conditioning!

We meet in a very secure building and believe in protecting our group's privacy. Please register with the name you want to use at check-in. Diana at the front desk will assist you in locating the group.

Our meeting format will be as follows:

Someone will be on-site approximately 30 minutes before the meeting to serve tea. Feel free to come mingle!

-We will start each session with a short meditation
-Introduction of individuals in attendance - we want to know you!
-A short review of the chapter we will discuss
-Individual shares - How did you practice the lessons from the chapter?
-Confirmation of the following weeks chapter
-Short closing meditation

"Let Them" is available at Copperfield's, Books Inc, Kindle, etc.
