"colour runs" have been proven to be very damaging to photographic equipment. If you do plan to bring your camera please protect it. Also note, that you may be met with hostility if you try to bring a DSLR as they claim they are not allowed.
A charity run where the runners will be plastered with dye.
Photographers love colour so this seems like a perfect opportunity to capture some interesting photos. Just don't get too close to the dye stations!
I am in no way associated with this event other than the fact I am thinking of running in it. It's a public event though so photographers should be welcome on the sides.
EDIT: As pointed out by Mike, you will not be allowed DSLR cameras at the event. That may affect whether you want to photograph or not.
EDIT2: When I proposed this idea I did not imagine it might be so hazardous on the camera gear. Please proceed with caution.
