## Workshop Invitation: Portrait and Headshot Lighting A to Z
***
Ready to unlock the secrets to stunning studio portraits and professional headshots? Join us for an intensive hands-on workshop designed to demystify studio lighting and elevate your photography skills!
### What We'll Cover
This workshop is structured to progressively build your lighting knowledge, giving you immediate, practical experience:
- The One-Light Wonder: Master the fundamentals of light shaping and control using a single light source and a modifier. We'll focus on classic setups like Rembrandt and loop lighting to create depth and drama.
 - Two Lights for Dimension: Introduce a second light (often a fill light or a hair/rim light) to soften shadows, add sparkle to the eyes, and separate the subject from the background.
 - Three-Light Professional Setup: Learn the industry-standard three-point lighting configuration for maximum control and polish, perfect for professional headshots and commercial portraits. We'll explore using a dedicated background light for a clean, studio look.
 - Hands-On Shooting Time: Plenty of time to apply what you've learned by shooting our experienced model, Lexy under each lighting setup.

### Benefits of Attending
- Conquer Studio Anxiety: Gain confidence working with strobe lighting and professional modifiers in a supportive environment.
 - Immediate Practice: This isn't just a lecture! You'll spend the majority of the time actively setting up lights and taking photos.
 - Small Group Size: Ensure personalized attention and ample one-on-one time with the instructor and equipment.
 - Build Your Portfolio: Walk away with a variety of high-quality images of our model, Lexy Rose, captured under professional studio lighting.

### What You'll Learn
By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
- Identify and control the key properties of light: quality (hard vs. soft), direction, and intensity.
 - Master the setup and purpose of essential light modifiers (e.g., softboxes, octaboxes, beauty dishes, reflectors).
 - Execute and troubleshoot classic one, two, and three-light studio setups for portraits and headshots.
 - Pose and direct a model to create engaging and flattering images.
 - Critically analyze light and shadow to solve common portrait lighting challenges.
