Hey! We’re the out/there project — a 1200+ person community that throws regular events across the city to help New Yorkers get out of the house and meet new people.
Beyond our bigger gatherings, we have a WhatsApp community where folks regularly make plans for trivia, happy hours, nights out, pick-up sports, and more. Starting at 7pm this Saturday, we’ll be at Marco's bar in Bushwick. We’ve reserved some space, they have a great patio, and it should be a stellar time. Usually people grab a few drinks with us as a big group before heading out to other spots in the area in smaller crews.
This event is also part of NYC Community Week -- a citywide celebration of belonging that aims to connect folks across the city.
