Greetings friends! I'm planning a Momo Festival dinner! Momo is an ethnic delicacy originating from Tibet, which spread throughout regions in Nepal, India and Bhutan. Similar to dumplings, they are generally steamed although there are variations which may be deep fried, pan fried or baked. The contents of a momo can be both vegetarian or meat based, with different seasonings depending on the vision of the chef. Some of the meats found in the momo can be yak, chicken, pork and lamb. Some of the vegetarian options include cabbage, leek, carrot and potato. I'm happy to bring the first ever Momo Festival here on Meetup, so naturally I would host this celebration at a momo themed restaurant, Momo Factory! If you have never had a momo before, this is your chance to experience this lovely dish from an intriguing part of the world!
