An Evening with BJK: Mental Health Music, Interviews, Stories and Insights
Details
Three things are happening in one room on this night: new music that doesn't look away from mental health, an interview that goes straight into what's underneath the songs, and a short talk on a tool built for exactly the gap this whole night is about.
Bryan Joseph Kuhn (BJK) is debuting his new album live, and every song on it is about mental health. After he plays, a doctor will interview him on stage, digging into the real experiences and mental health themes behind the music.
I'm John Moran, and I'll be speaking about Present, an AI companion I built for the hours between therapy sessions. I live with bipolar disorder, ADHD, and CPTSD, and I built it because I know what that gap feels like with no one there.
Surrounded by original art at the Artists Collective of Aurora, this is a night built for honesty over performance. Come ready for real music, real conversation, and a room full of people who get it.
An Evening with BJK: Mental Health, Music, Interview, Stories and Insights Friday, November 13th, 6 PM Artists Collective of Aurora 2 W Downer Pl, Aurora, IL 60506
