Fall Color #2 Hike and Rosalie Peak (13er) Via the Meridian Trail

Details

Hopefully the leaves stay on the trees! There is a few day's with moisture in the forecast before the hike, So there is a possibility of snow on the peak. This is a beautiful trail that will take us through aspen groves and pine trees to the ridgeline. Once at the ridgeline it will be a steady climb to the summit with several false summits along the way. The view is amazing at top. Elevation at the summit is 13,579'. Its a 10.2 miles RT hike with 2,890' elevation gain. Meet at the car pool at 7:10 or Trailhead at 8:00am. We can have a late lunch at Crossroads Pub and Grill, Pine Junction afterwards. I will be watching the weather for this one.
