We will be hiking from the Homestead Trailhead on the West Side of the Park. We will hike several loops all the way to the east parking lot. Castlewood Canyon Park has a lot of history including a dam break in 1933 that flooded Downtown Denver near Union Station. Its a 7.8 miles RT hike with 930' elevation gain (Rated as a moderate hike). Some of the trails we will be on will have ice. Bring your spikes! Saturday morning will start out being cold, so dress accordingly.

We will have lunch afterwards at The Stage Coach Saloon in Franktown after the hike.
