Woodland Lake and Skyscraper Reservoir in Indian Peaks Wilderness Hike!

We will be hiking from the Hessie trailhead past Woodland lake to Skyscraper Reservoir. Stopping at Woodland Lake on the way back. The picture posted is Woodland Lake. The trail climbs up through lodgepole and bristlecone pines. It's a 10.7 mile RT hike with 2,273' elevation gain (I'm rating it as a Strenuous hike). Highest elevation will be right at tree line 11,400'. Meet at the Nederland Middle/Senior High School parking lot at 7:45am. We will ride the shuttle bus to the Hessie Trailhead. I have a permit for 12. We will have lunch somewhere in Nederland.

WHAT TO BRING: Appropriate gear (food/snacks, first aid kit, layers, jacket, Rain Poncho, water, sun screen, hat, hiking poles, etc).
DISTANCE/GAIN: 10.7 miles RT with 2,273 ft. elevation gain. (Strenuous)
