Green Mountain @ William F Hayden Park

Quick hike up Green Mountain (Lakewood/Denver), approx. 5 miles with 1200 ft elevation gain total. Listed as Moderate, this hike has 950 feet of elevation gain on the first mile. We will hike from the parking lot straight up the service road, and then follow the service road down to the communications tower, returning the same way we came up. VERY steep, 50/50 chance you will slide/slip on the way down as the gravel is loose- please wear good shoes/boots!

DOGS: Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs must be leashed. Waste must be picked up and deposited into receptacles.
