Welcome to The Overlook Club — a horror book club in Alicante for anyone who loves a good scare. 👻📚
The goal is simple: read one horror book a month, then get together in person to talk about it. We’ll meet at the end of each month in a café, bar, or another cozy spot around Alicante to discuss the book, share our favorite (and least favorite) parts, and debate whether the characters made terrible decisions.
The club will be held entirely in English. Whether you’re an avid horror reader, a casual fan, or just looking for a fun way to meet people in Alicante, you’re welcome.
We’ll explore all kinds of horror — classic and contemporary, psychological, supernatural, gothic, folk horror, weird fiction, and everything in between. The group will choose each month’s book together, so everyone gets a chance to influence what we read.
