What we’re about
Welcome to The Ox Group – a men's group focused on creating enduring friendships.
The structure of this is still evolving in my head, so I'll update this soon. I ran a 4,500 member new friends group before, and really enjoyed it. But I'm looking for something more directed and intentional now.
This group will have men at the core. We'll do all-gender things too once we get the core established. Over time I've found most of my friendships became female, because honestly they're better at it. Once we have a good group, we'll do more inclusive events put on by the men of Ox.
This group will focus on the one thing you need to actually become friends - time together. This isn't about a random happy hour you can drop into – it's about committing to a small but regular effort. We'll do small things, and big things. Probably more small things. What we do will be determined by the interests of those involved. But no passengers. We're all looking for friendships, let's put in the effort to create a real community. Expect to have things expected of you.
I'm looking for co-creators. I'll manage things, but I want people who are looking to engage. Is that you? Let's hang out and build from there.
