PyScript is a platform for Python in the browser.
Pause for a second and think about what that means: the most widespread and ubiquitous computing platform (the browser), now runs one of the world's most popular, powerful and easy-to-learn programming languages (Python).
This evening's meeting will be in three parts:
- An introduction to PyScript, how to set it up and make things work.
- An opportunity to hack with PyScript and build something funky.
- A "show and tell" of what we've been up to, for the benefit of
mutual learning and as an opportunity to ask questions.
It'll be a light-hearted, fun and supportive environment to explore one
of the stand-out technologies to have recently emerged in the Python
ecosystem.
