A very nice paseo in Port Meadow, full of Historia y Literatura

Hola!

Join me on a walk from Port Meadow to the tiny village of Binsey. We'll have a chat about the history of Port Meadow, from King Alfred to WWII, we'll enjoy the sunshine (weather TBC) and we'll make our pleasant way to Binsey to find the hidden church of St Margaret, where we'll talk about St Frideswide and Charles Ludwig Dodgson, I mean, Lewis Carroll.
Those who chose to stay when we finish can go for a drink and maybe some food at the Perch or, if it is open, at the Medley.

Acompáñame en un agradable paseo por Meadow, con final en la pequeña aldea de Binsey. Hablaremos de la historia del lugar, su arqueología o las carreras de caballos en el siglo XIX. Caminaremos disfrutando del famoso sol inglés hasta Binsey y su iglesia de Santa Margarita, donde descubriremos cómo recuperó la vista el rey Algar de Mercia. Al terminar, una pinta y algo de comer en The Perch o, si está abierto, en the Medley.
