The Parti Party

Hey there! Welcome to this webpage with information on it for you, let us tell you a little bit about the Parti Party. We wanted to get some designers together and apply our brains to the creative process outside of the institutions that dictate our design choices. To accomplish this, we decided to host an event. We decided to call that event the Parti Party, and if you’re interested in joining a community dedicated to building community through design then this is the event for you. For only $5, you can enter the Parti Party and have the chance to win the pot! Here's how it works:

We’ll start with a 10-minute introduction explaining the rules and what a Parti is (pre-Googling is always welcome). Then, we have 3-4 presenters who will have 5 minutes each to give a project overview (we’re still confirming designers, you know how it is). Don’t worry if you don't have an idea to present - you can still attend and enjoy the fun for the same entry price! Why the entry price you say? Well, how were you planning to win any cash otherwise? C’maaan, think it through.

After each presentation, there will be a 10-minute audience Q&A session and each participant will draw their own Parti that they decide best expresses the presenter’s composition.

Next, it's time to vote for the best Parti! We tally the points based on votes for each of the parti. The winner gets the pot, then we gather around the fire pit and burn the drawings. Why burn the drawings you say? We just want to. You can keep yours if you want though.
